Presenting: “A Decade on the Divide – Stories & Photographs from the Canadian Rockies”. Learn how Paul pursues and discovers unique perspectives to capture the majesty of the Canadian Rockies, to share with the world. Hear stories of expeditions and the effort taken to achieve his incredible photos, and continue developing a vast appreciation for wild spaces.
Paul Zizka is an award-winning photographer who has been featured in galleries, the Banff Mountain Film Festival and numerous magazines from Macleans, National Geographic, and Outdoor Living. Having traveled all over the world with his photography, Paul still finds the Canadian Rockies one of the most beautiful locations in the world.
In this presentation, Paul will be sharing his passion for the incredible region that the Great Divide encompasses, and stories of the adventures and expeditions he has embarked on to achieve his incredible photos.
There will be time to meet other outdoor enthusiasts, share stories and perspectives. Doors will open at 6:30pm with the presentation starting at 7:00pm. This feature event provides the opportunity to hear from a world renowned photographer, learn about the Great Divide Trail and how you can make a positive contribution to the development and protection of this long distance wilderness trail.
