Join us as we talk about mitigating the three main natural hazards encountered in the Canadian Rockies: Fire, Snow and Water.
Strategies for river crossings, dealing with snow or fire closures, and how this can impact your trip are discussed. We will also talk about the common sections along the GDT where these hazards occur and some alternatives to mitigate them.
This webinar is highly suggested for people heading out for a GDT thru-hike. However, there are several strategies and tips that are applicable to all hikers!
