INTRODUCING THE NEW GDTA WEBSITE!
The GDTA is proud to roll out a big refresh to our beloved website! Built collaboratively entirely by volunteers, you’ll find all the content you’ve come to rely upon. The most referenced pages are even easier to find with more links in more places. You’ll find additional content related to the Association’s commitment: Reconciliation, Responsible Recreation, our Supporters, Trail Work, and constantly updated Frequently Asked Questions—a virtual treasure trove!
We’d love to hear what you think of the new site. And if you find something that doesn’t seem right, we’d appreciate you dropping us a message at website@greatdividetrail.com.

GDTA AT FALL FESTIVALS
Do you want to learn more about the GDT—or just plain nerd out?
We’ll be at the Banff Mountain Film Festival again this year, November 7–9, and at the Winterlaunch Festival, November 15–16 in Calgary. Come by to say hello, ask questions, swap stories, discuss volunteering opportunities, and check out our merch!

2025 PHOTO CONTEST WINNERS!
So many extraordinary images! It was very hard for our committee to declare the winners of our annual 2025 Photo Contest:
1st ‘Starry Sky’ by Ofri Karni (in the 2026 calendar)
2nd ‘Sunset at Floe Lake’ by Louis Malin (in the 2026 calendar)
3rd Mailys Hulin (shown above)

Fifteen photos large enough to print, were selected for the 2026 GDT Calendar. We will let you know when the calendar is up for sale.

HOW WAS YOUR TRAIL BUILDING TRIP?
If you’ve been on a trail building trip, we’d love to hear about it: where did you go, what did you do, what was the weather like, how did you feel? Send your trail building stories and photos to Pathfinder for possible inclusion in upcoming issues.
