GDT Alumni

Congratulations and welcome to the GDT alumni community!

Completing the Great Divide Trail is a monumental accomplishment. Travelling through the rugged and remote Canadian Rockies for weeks on end enduring harsh physical demands requires an incredible amount of determination, as well as strong backcountry travel skills. GDT Alumni have taken on this challenge and completed the trail in its entirety.

If you have completed the GDT please visit the Trail Completion page and consider filling out the Trail Completion Form to add your name to the GDT Alumni list below. This data helps the GDTA gain valuable insight into the remarkable feat you have accomplished and supports our work to protect the trail and the Great Divide experience. Additionally, a complimentary GDT Finisher’s Certificate and information on how to purchase a GDT Finisher’s Patch are available after you submit on the Trail Completion page.

The GDTA is a non-profit, volunteer run organization. It would not be what it is today without its members. Please consider volunteering, donating, or becoming a member to help protect, maintain, and advocate on behalf of the Great Divide Trail so it can be enjoyed by all those fortunate enough to step on the trail, and is there for future generations.

The GDTA is proud to present the GDT Alumni below:
