Corporate and Matching Donations

Check with your employer to see if they are affiliated with a corporate donation platform such as Benevity. Many companies have workplace giving programs and may provide a matching contribution to an employee’s donation.  The GDTA has a cause profile registered with Benevity and has been the recipient of donations from many generous individuals and companies. All donations through Benevity are issued tax receipts. Learn more about Benevity here.

ATB Cares is a donation platform that matches contributions made by individuals. You can donate to the GDTA here on ATB Cares or through their listing of charities. They currently match 20% of an individual’s donation up to a maximum of $500 until their budget limit of matching funds is reached each month. If you plan to donate on this platform, consider doing so near the beginning of the month. Learn more about ATB Cares here.

Gift in Your Will

When you are preparing your estate plan, you may wish to consider a bequest to the GDTA in your will. This a truly meaningful way to leave a legacy to maintain, protect and promote the Great Divide Trail for generations to come.  A bequest can also provide tax advantages for your final estate.
